In preparation for the new hero system, I'm creating guides with info on 7 new heroes that will be released with it, and replace collab heroes.

Info can be changed later.

At the moment, guide only does theoretical comparison between new and old heroes. When heroes will be released, I'll try to check most important facts about all new heroes and compare them with old collab heroes.

Disclaimer

Tests are done by scientific method of trying to control all variables in the best possible way, and then applying average function on those results to control inherent randomness.

But, due to system having many changing variables, some variables will be given in these tests. Please, be aware that if you use different variables, your results will vary, and they might be different.

I'll try to explain which variables might have higher impact on test results.

You should test with your own variables to establish test results that will be the most similar to results you will get. Different stats do affect heroes and how good they are!!!

Interpreting results

Chart shows percentage of remaining units. The numbers are from perspective of what is tested, and description should be read from left to right, or from main test subject perspective. If number is positive, left side hero, or combination of heroes, or whatever test subject is, has won. If number is negative, left side hero, or combination of heroes, or whatever test subject is, has lost.

Higher numbers are better, you want to have more units left after battle, or if you lose, that opponent has less units.

🌊 Hero Skill: Microfilm Intel

**Preparation Skill: **In the first round of battle, your Naval units receive 110% Attack Enhancement, which lasts for the entire battle.

Passive Skill: At the start of each round, [Silence] is randomly applied to 3 enemy units for 1 turn. At the same time, 30% [Debilitation] is applied to 3-5 enemy units for 1 turn, and 30% [Vulnerable] to 3-5 enemy units for 1 turn.

Margaretha's Exclusive Skill
Improves Margaretha's skill effect(without improving the effect and triggering probability of [Silence], [Debilitation], and [Vulnerable].

  • Lv.3 When this hero participates in battle, Attack of all your units increases by 30%.

  • Lv.5 When this hero is deployed, all [Debilitation] [Vulnerable] effects are increased to 40%, and all heroes' active skill damage is increased by 10% to hit units with Abnormal Status.

  • Lv.7 This hero's [Vulnerable] effect is increased by 20%, and all heroes' active skill damage is increased by 30% to hit units with Abnormal Status.

Comparative analysis

Passive skill

Margaretha applies Debilitation and Vulnerable effect to 3-5 units, Jill to 2-4 units at the start of each round.

Exclusive skills

  • ES5 Margaretha adds 10% to active skill damage for all heroes when hitting units with Abnormal status. Jill increases Debilitation effect to 3-5, and Jill's Vulnerable effect is increased by 20%.

  • ES7 Margaretha's Vulnerable effect is increased by 20% (equal to Jill's). Jill increases Vulnerable effect to 3-5. Both increase active skill damage for all heroes when hitting units with Abnormal status (Margaretha's total is 40%, Jill's total is 30%).

#

Conclusion

Margaretha offers a bit more from the start.

At ES5, Margaretha adds 10% to active skill damage when hitting units with Abnormal state, but without boosting own Vulnerable effect. Jill equalise Debilitation.

At ES7 Margaretha adds 20% to own Vulnerable effect, equalising it with Jill. Jill also equalise all Vulnerable effects. Both add boost to active skill damage when hitting units with Abnormal state. Only difference is Margaretha's 40% compared with Jill's 30% in the end.

Very slight advantage for Margaretha in the end, with better start.

Hero Combinations

Similar to army's counter attack, navy's control tactic is significantly weaker than defense tactic, as you can check in Valka's guide here

Looking at changes in Margaretha, it doesn't look like this will be changed. Similarly to army, even second generation of defense tactic heroes might be stronger than control tactic, but it should be tested.
