If gems and unit lost are worth more than the rewards... why are you participating?
Non-val units can be retrained for free over the week.
An important part in TopWar is picking your battles, especially outside tournaments. Except defending the capital at the last moment if needed...
I almost never use gems during non-tournaments : you burned all my troops? GG, I'm out and will monitor ruins for other players.
The only rewards worth insane repair costs imho are the base shards, but they stop at 6000
I think you play your SVSes at a point where both sides lose and only the devs enjoy the show 😦
