@forest iron unlocking the new areas do now grant you troops. This area is used to place decorations freeing up additional space to place more troops and buildings. The new area is dedicated to decorations only.

rephrasing the bug on mysterious island reported early... my daily reset resets the store giving it a countdown of 24hours before it resets. It also resets with the "old pirate island" every 2 days, giving me a duplicate reset on these days.
Therefore either the countdown is not correct or the island store should not reset twice on the old pirate island reset days.

Hey I just completed a reward task which was really hard.. It was one of those "get 100 points to clean the area" task... I completed it and nothing happened... I didnt get anything for collecting those 100 points... Not only that, for the last like 9 lvl's I've never gotten any decoration after cleaning out a territory, not once, and also there were no bosses in any of them.. I cleared out like 10 territories without there being a boss.. Which means I didn't get a ton of packeges that I usually get after defeating the bosses in each territory.... I could let that slide but this bs that after completing the 100 points I get nothing... Why is this happening?

@slow linden You should check your Build menu. The decorations sometimes showed up in my Build menu but not in my Build menu in my inventory.

It might be that your server just does not have the decorations yet. Some server are testing the decorations. It might be that your server only gets the better Quest menu.

Not that i know of. At level 70 the unit you have to face are way too easy. I dont look at my fights. I skip as fast as possible to unlock the areas.

Yea, post 35 suddenly the "boss" parts became regular rounds and I don't face any bosses anymore which sucks coz before they gave a lot of packeges as a reward, but now at lvl 42 there's still no sign for any bosses I just skip through them like you said

They can take up to 72 hours to reply in game. You will not recieve an in game email, you will need to recheck your Avatar > Settings > help

I have 3 level 7 components but when I u assign them to merge to level 8 my enhance tab shows I have 1 so I can't merge them

@heavy sand that's a bug.. I'm dealing with the same thing right now. The point of that feature is to make it easy to switch between component sets. Every time you switch to a different number, it should update your inventory accordingly. Having to do that with all four components sets is counterproductive. You know how it marks a hero's skill as new when you remove it? It should do the same when you switch.

@fast bone vouchers are month specific so they cannot be combined together. The one you have selected is one of the first few rounds that happened but they will typically have a month appended to them

As for your report @woeful jasper without being able to see all the stats it could be that the opponent has higher components and as for the timer when it comes down to the last few seconds it's a matter of stats that will push it over. The first report shows a final hit at the last second then 7 seconds later another hit on the CC

From time to time I do some testing of game mechanics cause I like to figure out
how things work and most of them appear to work fine.
When it comes to damage calculation though there is one thing that keeps bothering me.
As soon as I equip a weapon upgrade component the damage numbers go through the roof
while I fail to explain them with what the game offers me.
Here is how I conducted my tests.
I collected all my stats and buffs to calculate the damage I'm expecting
and compare that to the number I'm actually doing during an island battle or when attacking a wild boss.
Scenario 1: without components
observation
island battle, tank vs tank, stack of two deals 1.17B damage
calculation
300M base damage of level 75 units
*2 stack size
*1.1 damage increase from alliance badge

+0.31 infinite firepower lv 62
+0.15 land force attack from mech tree
+0.145 war firepower lv 10
+0.145 army ATK alliance tech lv 10
+0.03) all unit ATK from alliance badge
= 1174.8M
When rounded down this is exactly the number I observed.
The ATK bonus in parantheses adds up to 78%.
Against a wild boss land army I deal 1.25B damage which is due to an additional 11% ATK against wild bosses from VIP 6.
On a side note, there is no difference in damage dealt between wild bosses inside or outside of alliance territory.
Although war firepower is not supposed to apply in the latter case, or is it?
Scenario 2: single component, level 5 weapon upgrade "increases ATK by an extra 90.0%"
observation
island battle, tanks vs ships, stack of two deals 2.46B damage
calculation
Going by the description I add another 90% Atk buff to my existing 78% which yields
300M * 2 * 2.68 * 1.1 = 1768.8M
This is considerably lower than what I'm actually doing namely 2460M as mentioned above.
Let's assume it is indeed an ATK buff and figure out how big it would be.
2460M / 600M / 1.1 - 1.78 = 1.95 rounded
Which means a level 5 ATK component acts (in this scenario) as if it had 195% ATK increase.
Scenario 3: single component, level 9 weapon upgrade "increases ATK by an extra 250%"
A stack of two tanks deals 4.57B damage against ships.
Naive calculation
300M * 2 * 4.28 * 1.1 = 2824.8M << 4570M
equivalent ATK increase
4570M / 600M / 1.1 - 1.78 = 5.14 = 514% > 2*250%
In conclusion one can say that the ATK increase from weapon upgrade is in fact more than twice as large
compared to what the descrition reads.
I am afraid there is something wrong with the code where the weapon upgrade gets implemented.
And I am also aware that an adjustment will have consequences.
But all in all I think it will be beneficial to the game.
Getting some damage out of it would make the battles slightly slower and the outcome less reliant
on the first shot and wether one gets a Belle proc in or not.
And rest assured no whales will be hurt. In fact this change would increase the relative value of
maxed out hero perks which is whale stuff entirely.

hello everybody, I'm facing a strange phenomenon.
With us on the server, a player who is not in our alliance started an amsss against one of our players.
Alliance players can join this amass.
I am currently in an amass against a player from my own alliance
If you try to look at the participants you get the following picture.
Hmmm, this strange amass is gone, but I still have a walk outside
Now when writing these lines this strange amass has disappeared.
However, I still have a busy march
Is the whole thing a bug or did someone use an exploit or whatever?

The attack would take place at 13:58:57 (CEST).
What happens if I don't withdraw the march?

when reading individual battle log email your gathering reports will always show blanc
you can resolve this by closing the mail and manually open it, but it obviously is a (visual) bug

I'm having an issue with my tax rate
I understand that 20mines equal to your level gives you 100%. And it used to be that 40 mines one level below you would also give 100% but it's only coming up as 99%.

It was 3 x level 7 components. I held off merging any more for weeks so they could look at my account and see my screen shots we the truth... but my game stagnating so much I started merging again. Fedeimortem was helping me and told me I would have a answer last Monday.. nothing happened so I started merging .
My first ticket took 3 weeks to get response. They asked me which components and cos I said i couldn't remember (it being 3 weeks ago!)they said they wouldn't "help me find them"
Then I found a screen shot I took and sent it in .
Then another 3 weeks etc etc .. it just leaves me feeling they dont want my custom anymore
So I will play for free and they lost a regular customer .
I had totally forgotten I'd taken screen shots . But really .. what use are they .. anyone can get screenshots. They dont actually prove anything.

@harsh sedge many expedition opponents have multiple comps that we cannot have. It’s part of the game and to even it out since their march size is constant, otherwise it’d be too easy. Also to empathize the need to teach players to counter opponents attributes, I believe.

@supple estuary people usually do not realize that prices in US are shown without taxes. What you eventually pay is $99.99 + tax. But EU has different law and prices must show what you’re actually going to pay. So, €109.99 is the total price, including the tax.

@atomic latch this, I totally agree with you. The difference, however, is caused by Japanese playing a different game. They play VividArmy, while we play TopWar. Their game is browser based, ours is a mobile game. They have different prices for their gift packs which are way cheaper and that’s why Japanese players eventually easily outperform us. They can pretty much buy everything in the game for a fraction of what you or I would have to pay for the same stuff. In a long run, Japanese players end up stronger and easily defeat us.

So if the enemy has a lot of HP boni on the Heroes you cant see it in the opening window.

Notice that “headless”. There is a couple of heroes you must use against these ones. I believe it must be a hero that has a skill causing DMG. For example, Nimitz and Simon have ATK skill, so they would lose. I might be wrong, but that’s what I remember from other people talking about here some time ago.

Hello, I see the new arena ranking system. And let me tell you a few things about it. First of all, it's very bad. Anyone who have more accounts can just boost himself up. I ask of you to change it to so called shelf system, where if you beat rank 1 you become rank 1 and everyones rank change based on it. Also the person you beat will new take your position in the rank. Example.: I rank 7 beat rank 2, now I become rank 2 and he becomes rank 7. I'm writing this becouse there is a HUGE issue in my server with very weak players getting attacked and purposely winning by their friends or second accounts. This is unacceptable when there is ranking involved. Please implement the shelf system over this half baked 95' Elo syste.

@lost umbra make sure your skills are on the 1st set. maybe you didn't set the battle after you change it? I had the same problem but moving skills to 1st set fixed the problem.

Today (overnight and this morning) I had accumulated 358 Alliance common gifts. I switched apps to reply to a text message and came back to TopWar and it restarted. When I got into the game, all of those gifts were gone. I went into my Inventory and did not see evidence of them having been opened. I know they had not exceeded their time limit as I last opened gifts around midnight and this occurred at around 3:00 pm (~15 hours)

Being inside the hive doesn’t give alliance bonuses to hp and attack in Arena (war firepower & homeland defense). Using romantic skin. I’m at the border but inside with standard skin, with romantic it looks like I’m outside. I’m on iOS. Opponents I’ve seen have the buffs.
