#Config button missing on fabric for all YUNG's mods

Yung's better X mods are pretty customizable. However you cannot customize them from within the game and have to edit the files which is pretty annoying. Furthermore I am sure the config button was working back in 1.18 or 1.17 (not sure) but not anymore.

it's there for me when using ModMenu v4.0.6

#

are you using some other mod for adding mod menus?

reef rampart
#

no

#

mod menu right?

#

I'm using 4.2 beta 2

#

I'll try one of the release versions instead of beta real quick

drifting echo
#

yeah maybe it's a beta issue

#

actually it still works for me when using 4.2.0-beta2

#

I noticed the appearance of your mod menu is different from mine, maybe you're using another mod that's messing with it?

reef rampart
#

didn't fix it

#

no that's just a texture pack

drifting echo
#

post your latest.log, maybe it will say something useful

reef rampart
#

this is more likely a mod menu issue instead of your issue tbh

drifting echo
#

I agree but still weird that it works for me

reef rampart
#

if it doesn't work for you now at least I'll know it's a mod issue not smt with my pc

drifting echo
#

yeah all of your mods are throwing errors related to clothconfig

#

what version of clothconfig do you have?

reef rampart
#

cloth-config-9.0.94-fabric

drifting echo
#

thats your issue, that version is for 1.19.3 it seems

reef rampart
#

hmm

drifting echo
#

try 8.2.88

reef rampart
#

oh interesting

#

I suppose I made an error when downloading
let's try

drifting echo
#

yeah mod menu uses cloth config under the hood. Looks like since you have the wrong version, clothconfig is unable to read any of your mod's configs, and so then mod menu can't detect any of them since they didn't initialize properly

reef rampart
#

well some mods did have the configure button working properly though

#

loading in now

#

yep that was it, my fault
works now

drifting echo
#

awesome 👍
