As of now we only have an increase/decrease in power and energy, PPT, lock and burn. The game is getting predictable.
How about a reshuffle-type ability, that mixes up the order of the cards in the deck (including the ones in hand).
Defacing ability (until played/permanent) - an affected card by this ability retains every aspect (energy cost, power, other abilities), only the player doesn't know what exactly he plays and how it will affect him (how much energy is deducted or how much power is used for the turn)
As an alternative - Dazzle - randomizes the actual card stats so the player is confused, and isn't sure what to play
Extend the lock ability to an entire slot?
Get an appropriate mythic card that locks a card slot for the opposing player, for one turn, once per game.
Forced trade - when playing, 2 random cards from each player's deck are being swapped for the duration of the match.
Chance - the card has a chance to activate its ability, or it could backfire if you're not lucky
