So I've been playing around with overlock

and I kind of finally get that the overlock card (eye of storm, emperor Zhe) needs support so that the turn isn't weakened severely by playing one card.

This can be done with ppt and debuff
Eg eirine and infinity plague doctor etc etc weakening opponent strengthening your hand weakening theirs next turn when you play the overlock card

The issue however is still that with new buffers etc introduced by using these cards for an effect next turn and only playing 1 card you are sacrificing probably 4 deck slots 2 for an effect next turn could be better carfs, but always 2 when only one card played

Therefore overlock needs a buffer to hit either Babylon and devil, or eye stem and zhenge to around the amount of 300-600 points 3 meta cards worth of points

1 for the card you need to replace to include it in deck, and 2 to replace the two slots you cant cycle/play cards

Would need to be conditional so can't be used in other decks like contain 3 of the 4 cards

Unlock without any unlocker is also possible now run all three and Nostradamus

Still need to unlock devil or any natural overlock still requires a 1 card play

So lose at least 2 cards in cycle of buffs

Use it in doggy overlock for natural overlock but it's still weak compared to Everest version I think
