Hey guys, I wanted to get into Swift and maybe make some IOS apps that solve my problems without putting them publicly. I was wondering if it is possible, or if anyone has had any luck with this? I saw online there is many options but conflicting info some say yes but you only have for 7 days at a time then some say its 1 year at a time others say you cant at all so im just wondering.

You can run iOS apps without the App Store for free using tools like SideStore or AltStore, but these apps expire every 7 days and you are limited to 3 active apps. To avoid this, a $99/year Apple Developer account extends the limit to one year and removes the 3-app restriction. SideStore is the recommended free method as it allows for wireless ...
7 days unless you pay for a dev account, then it’s a year
Or just use ksign
That looks scary af lol setting a custom DNS is holy fuck lol Counted 16 ads on the site, about half were fake "download" button ads
just post ur app to the app store and use it yourself lol thats the same as it being private
yes its "public" but absolutely zero people are going to see a random app on the app store
plus its very easy to get accepted if u just have a bare app, no payments/completely free, no social infrustructure etc
But that’s $100yr
what do u need to build?
i dont understand what the issue is
u want to build an app but NOT put it on the app store?
then do it?
what are u confused about
I’m not OP. The implication from their question (mentioning the dev mode cert time limits) is that they want a free side load solution.
