FP-Devicer is a modern open-source server-side digital fingerprinting library developed by Gateway Corporate Solutions LLC. Published on npm as devicer.js, it processes rich device and browser fingerprints collected from clients and returns a confidence score (0–100) showing the probability that two fingerprints belong to the same user or device. It's designed as a powerful, cookie-less solution for fraud prevention, session continuity, user authentication, and abuse mitigation.

Core Features
• Simple yet powerful API: calculateConfidence(fp1, fp2)
• Highly customizable weighted scoring system
• Extensible plugin architecture for custom comparators
• Enterprise-grade DeviceManager with persistence, deduplication, caching, and observability
• High performance (<1ms per comparison) with >98% accuracy in benchmarks
• Full TypeScript support with comprehensive documentation
• Pairs perfectly with FP-Snatch (client-side fingerprint collector)
• Live demo dashboard at https://cicis.info/

Brief History
FP-Devicer began as an internal project at Gateway Corporate Solutions in early 2025 to address limitations in existing open-source fingerprinting tools. The first public release (v1.0) launched in June 2025 alongside FP-Snatch. Throughout 2025, the library evolved rapidly with the addition of the plugin system, DeviceManager, and advanced similarity algorithms. Samuel Roux has served as the primary maintainer since inception. As of March 2026 (v1.5.5), FP-Devicer includes stability weighting, improved caching, new comparators, and production-ready adapters — making it one of the most complete open-source fingerprint matching engines available.
