I am trying to import a file (a .bmd file specifically) into Blender. After changing and moving some files and folders, the importing stopped working and I am getting this error message instead. It seems to be a Python traceback, so I'm trying to find a way in which I can change directory permissions. I saw different methods and variables online via Google, but I can't find one that works for me. Is there a mostly full-proof (if not entirely full-proof) way for me to change directory permissions for something through Python. I'm on Mac and my OS is 14.7.2.

Since when can Macs run Windows .exe?
It's called Apple Rosetta duhhhh /s
i'm not sure what triggered it, but it originally worked. idk if it was due to another version of the addon without the .exe was used, or just because i moved files and folders around while watching a tutorial having to do with Blender, .bmd files, etc.
