Here are some resources you may find helpful.
Installing Python
Interacting With Python
Basics Tutorials
Using Real Python
At the bottom of each Real Python article, there are links to the next article that you should probably check out. It's a useful way to continue your learning journey.
What concepts are you having issues with?
how old are you? do you have adhd or other issues?
is it just coding or do you struggle elsewhere too?
yeah. im no expert no tiny bit but youll probably have to get medication, probably stimulants, to do well
did you talk about this with your psychiatrist?
yeah it must suck. ig you can keep trying and if the issue is memory or resistance to learning it might go away later
how did your psychiatrist learn about your adhd did he administer a cognitive test?
ig youre on gov spending or smn? if not then youll have to really work hard no one is gonna help you a bit
as for coding if you cant learn from books try videos, if that doesnt work then maybe irl lectures/bootcamps
yh it sucks
hm
not sure why youd pay for coding books
for python, for example, there is:
https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/
i thought this is good
now its a little technical tbf
but i think it's good nevertheless
please dont pay for resources unless its something very high end and specialised
dont push yourself too hard on this one do it in chunks per day
like do 1, 2 and 3 today
. 🙌
Stop 👏 doing 👏 courses 👏
Indeed
You gotta start building stuff
I'm not expecting you to create anything crazy complicated
Do you know how to get user input? Use if, elif, else statements? Loops?
With that you can pretty much build a simple rock paper scissors game or a number guessing game
At least that's a start
We're always here to help if you get stuck or you want feedback. What we don't want you to do is fall into tutorial hell and not make any meaningful progress
how is it going so far @cunning fractal ?
