Hello, I am wanting to make a mobile app but have never done so before and I am very inexperienced. I want to know what coding language is best for that or if I even should code because I want it to be on mobile preferably iOS and android but also pc.

I’ve heard of flutter but I don’t have mac so I couldn’t get it on iOS which sort of sucks. I could still use that but can’t get it on iOS.

I don’t know if I should continue or there is better languages.

For context I’m looking into making a writing app if that matters

For anything iOS you need to use Xcode in some capacity. So you need a Mac, though you might be able to use a VM for that, not actually sure on that one.

Basically the "best" language will always be built for purpose. Desktop you could just use any language you want. Android should always use Java or Kotlin (or any other JVM language but Kotlin is preferred) and iOS should always use Swift.

That's not to say you can't use a framework like Flutter but in general it's probably not the "best" tool for the job.

I’ve heard react native and flutter are some of the best for that. I just won’t get iOS then.

Try a VM. You might be able to build for iOS 😁
