My Razer Kraken Ultimates disconnect and reconnect constantly with a very loud and annoying popping noise. It appears to be dependent on the position of either the headphones or cable, or both. For example, sometimes if I nudge the cable, it will pop and disconnect/reconnect; If i move my head slightly it will disconnect/reconnect. I’ve tried so many methods of troubleshooting, and some work temporarily, others do nothing at all. In short, I’m in the market for new headphones. What are some tried and true, reliables headsets, that are ideally USB. (Still okay if not USB, just preferably)

It would be nice, but it’s not 100% necessary, I have a boom mic that I use on and off with the headset mic because I use IR tracking with some games.

what you describe is a broken cable 😉
Happens when wires "connect" with the same wire or anoother, so it happens when your cable moves.
Now the question is:
What do you wanna do with the headphones?
What budget you have?
Mic /No Mic ?
How is your other setup?
Do you need smth to get area sounds also as mic?
Do you have boxes that are running paralell?
