Hey guys, welcome back to my online blog. I've encountered some programmers recently who go out of their way to showcase themselves as superior just because they spend their ever-growing free time into writing code in programming languages associated with prestige, such as Haskell, C or APL. I myself have spent much of my youth creating games in x86-64 Assembly on my family computer, which nowadays would certainly seem like a great boast, but I still don't brag about it daily... Having read a couple of Kafka's masterpieces (oh dear am I an avid philosophy reader) can only laugh and scold at their all-to-human behavior. Superiority is a product of experience, dedication and brilliant time management, a routine that I've been strictly following for the past decade or so of my mortal life. I've read through the C manual more than ten times since the start of my journey and that's precisely what makes a brilliant programmer: dedication and plain ol' talent. Not everyone is born a programmer and I hate it when people are narcissistic about their illusion-driven concept of skill and coding abilities!
Any thoughts?
#Programmers - Superiority Complex

Is this a meme
I think humbleness is earned, I don’t like superiority. And I think nobody is born a programmer, but anyone can become one if they dedicate enough time. Natural talent will dictate how much time it’ll take
I think you need to chill out, @ancient belfry.
Comparison is the thief of joy.

Not seen these "superior" peoples postings, but letting people know what you are good at is not a bad thing. I try to do this, because it opens new doors for me.
However, if it more like "I know all this, unlike you" kind of posts, put those people on permanent ignore. Most of these kinds of people are delusional about their "superiority" and probably know half of it, if even that.
Frankly, I just think that my brain is wired differently. I can pick up programming concepts with ease while all my "friends" tend to have a really hard time grasping the basics. It's just how nature works, I'm not calling my self superior, just more capable of both intellectual problem solving and practical implementation
You might be naturally a bit better, or just more interested in programming then your friends! That’s just the way she goes sometimes.
My advice is to remain humble, and beware of dunning-Kruger effect!
Get yourself and your nasty kindergarten snake out of this conversation... Your behavior is pitiable and pathetic but I won't fall for your trap. There should be some kind of industry filter so as to not stain the market with people of inferior programming abilities. You disgust me. Your messages are mere grammatically (mostly) coherent words that will not hinder my path to success and wisdom
I felt compelled to look that up 🤓
