Why would they improve performance?
by freezing unnecessary processes, cleaning temp files, cleaning invalid executeables
How do we define these unnecessary processes?
Temp files can have some impact on performance but I don't think you'll notice a lot (if you care that much, just write a small script that deletes those folders every X days)
every app has their own processes that run on background... some of them are not even needed and if they run they slow down the system... and t the less storage you have on your system drive, the worse it gets... well under 15g on system drive its not the only thing that slows down the pc... but the thing im interested in this topic is if they help or if they slow down your pc
but these tools help too, so i would liek to hear your opinion on this.
