A flow field is a grid of vectors pointing in different directions. In this simulation, the direction of each vector depends on the hue (color) of a pixel in an image. Then, 1000 particles move around in the direction of the nearest vector in the field. I made this using Processing, a computer graphics library for Java. Hope you like it!

They said the colors are generated based on an image, so I think yes
