pick a language and try to get a basic understanding of it!

#

python is a common choice as a first language

First of all chose what you want to do with coding otherwise if you start learning any language then it won't be helping you that much when u know that u will be working with app development or web development then learn an easy programming language about that type this will help you way too much

Codecademy probably best start. Free courses, but it is interactive. Give it a few hours to try and see how it goes.

@tall fiber
Bascially you can learn C because thats what i learnt if you learn upto an intermidate level in C you can learn any language at ease
because C is one of the languages which has DMA(dynamic memory managment)

it is an Mid Level Language

Also try to learn how computers work like How Monitors get Values to light up thousands of led in fraction of second

Fun Fact : mouse uses camera to Calculate and send signals to CPU so how much the cursor can move

if you have any doubts you can DM me i will share with you whatever i can😁🙏

But @river marsh in c some things if he is a beginner won't be able to understand that is why I recommend learning something easy first like python or java

Agree, you don't need to learn C first. Pick something you'll stick to/enjoy, that matters most. It doesn't matter if you went the hard route and picked C, if you end up getting frustrated and quitting

#

If you want to pick C, all the power to you! But don't feel pressured to learn C first because this guy said so. I've been coding for 10+ yrs and I've never written C, just do what you're interested in the most!

#

Most if not all intermediate skills will be transferable in most languages. The things that won't transfer is language-specific knowledge/differences (pointers, manual memory management, garbage collection, static vs dynamic typing, bla bla) and those things you'll pick up as you continue learning. Just get your feet wet somewhere:)

And if you cannot do that then you don't need programming you need jesus

I learn C++ as my first programming language lol
