Local Games only support 2 local players even though online Custom Games support 4 | Party Animals | Page 1

The new Local Mode currently permits a maximum of 2 local players on the Xbox Series X, even though the console supports 4 local players in online Custom Games. This seems like an oversight of some kind. If three friends and I can play on the same screen in online custom games, why can’t we do the same in local mode?

After confirming with our team, the Local Game mode supports only 2 players in split-screen.
