@onyx prism it isn't always possible to have perfect signals, this is even more the case after a large gap such as the one you can see in the img, this gap caused a strong signal to occur.

Volatility low = Market is in a sideways state and a bigger impulse move is likely beginning to form.

They are more attractive to newer traders but they draw from pivot points in the past

Strong signals are best to trust the market is trending @green plover normal signals some just ignore, especially during trends although they sometimes can provide opportunities for small trade setups. (e.g. - normal buy signal & take profit at the EQ Cloud - then re-enter short at the cloud and use the next Strong Sell as confirmation the market is still downtrending)

I have done so more than once. All the videos are sre giving amazing buy and sells. Such so that i screenshotted them and followed them blindly and there is 3 wins per loss in almost every video. But on my chart its a 50 50

Yep that's a good idea and a great example of how you'd want to use that information

If the dash says ranging, reversal zones and contrarian signals will be the most valuable

If you do plan to use that, I'd suggest changing your S/R filter to 5

Because that also impacts how far back the state looks back on the dashboard ☺️

@red bough There are too many variables though. I understand what you’re saying, but let’s just take SPY for instance. Let’s say they make the claim that 4.50 & 1.90 are the best settings on the 1D timeframe. Well while that may helpful to some it’s still useless to me because I only day trade. So 1D will not transfer to the 5min as easily. Not all stocks trade the same, not all forex pairs trade the same

MACD.. to see trend, 200ema for long term trend (but i find the equalizer bands works just as well).

On a 1m chart I've noticed the indicator indicators will appear/disappear randomly. I was watching $GM and there was a huge red candle with a RED STRONG alert then it disappeared

A signal is confirmed only once the candle is closed. Meaning a signal could appear on your chart but is not confirmed until that candle is closed and the next candle has started.

Our automated Discord bots will never notify you on any signal until the candle has closed and confirmed it. If you're adding alerts for Lux signals in TradingView - make sure to select "Once per bar close".

I looked into it. But I think, after doing a backtest, I should pass it. For forex, my Simple MACD strategy is way better than making things complex.

Hi just joined this group. I was wondering what kind of exit strategy some of you are using incase a trade goes against you? Opposite signal is a bit tricky in my opinion as the SL might be very far and the trade needs to be followed

contrarian mode is in ranging and confirmation in trending. Right?

generally those signals match up better yes

but you do have to change it yourself in settings
