@civic thorn I think the issue youāll have with āprice holding aboveā alert is that there isnāt a new action taking place.
@midnight cipher a signal isnāt confirmed until candle close . So technically yes if youāre watching candles form and one wicks up it may give a strong buy, but then price is rejected and drops back and Lux will get rid of the signal because X criteria wasnāt met.

reversal bands are generally good for ranging markets, while equalizer bands can be good to spot trends
the dashboard can give you simplified data where you can detect trends or ranging markets --- which in turn could help you make a decision which bands to use though!

I do not know if you are coupling the Lux system to the market I see with concern that the Lux system does not stop sending signals and I have followed up in a couple of weeks and this is not working. Recent example of today EUR / GBP a Strong buy 2H 7.:00am then the same pair stong buy 4h 9:00 am and finally the same pair EUR / GBP Sell 2H 11:00 am of the same day everything and everyone fails I hope they are looking at all this. In my experience the scanner hasnāt ever delivered a ābadā alert. Meaning if it says SPX strong sell at 1:30pm est I know for a fact if I pull up a default Lux template itāll be there.
I say you both share screenshots š. If youāre getting an alert via the discord scanner(s) but you canāt find it on YOUR set up Iāll bet ya we can figure out why.

@orchid nexus I tried the three minute chart and I caught the JPM puts today for a 125% gain and I went long on SPY calls for 100%.. I had a regular 2 minute candle chart on TOS at the same time and went with the direction of the 8sma and waited and received the signal to confirm and enter.

@orchid nexus if you donāt mind getting extra alerts - do what I did. I set my alerts for once per bar as opposed to bar close. This allows me to be alerted when a possible signal is formING. If it doesnāt get confirmed then no big deal but the extra minute or two can really help. But with that said- you will for sure get useless alerts. So pick your battles

@calm creek you could indeed add the alert condition in the script, but I dont recommend you to do it. Note that you won't receive an alert at the exact time a HH/Hl/LH/LL label appear, but later, since they are delayed bylengthperiods

Hey support, I'm working on an api that will give me possible buy picks based on multiple indicators including lux algo. I had an issue with the sells coming through when "any sell" is set in the alert. To speed things up to reproduce the issue, I tested this on AAPL using the 1 second chart and was able to reproduce the issue easily. Please see screenshot, there isn't an alert log item for the "Strong" sell.

thereās not a solid definition or straight answer but ālightā was definitely part of choosing Lux as I noticed early on from creating it with @indigo cradle when you enable it on any chart it can make everything more clear right away
thatās really the main part of it, but also other interpretations, i try to leave it up to the user to interpret it rather than giving a straight answer š glad you like the name/brand though

Yes. Do āsave asā and name it on your desktop. Then open your app new (so if itās running in the background on your phone swipe up and close it) and if it doesnāt come up on its own click on āload chart layoutā and your newly named layout should be there.

@hollow wing Unfortunately no. I had that same issue when I first started but itās an issue with TradingView is what I was told. The signals are the candle colorings really and not so much the flags so thatās how I ended up just disabling them.
