I used support and resistance extensively and now they are super different, with some resistances even completely missing. I've tried to adjust settings, etc, and they're still missing. This means that I have to redo all my trading strategies with the indicator. Otherwise, please bring back the older support/resistance as an option.

@jaunty perch the term predictive here is used because the S/R will appear on real time, they are not based on pivots who might appear later in time

you can also change the S/R Filter settings

I liked the previous version better, the lines where based on the HH and LL.
Now when activating the lines your chart becomes verry smal becasause the S/R lines are wide.
Is there a way to fix this.

If I am understanding your question correctly, the “exit” points would be the buy/sell candles. You enter on strong sell, exit on buy signal and enter on strong buy, exit on sell

So I noticed the issue was I updated my lux algo settings but didn’t update the alerts. Does trading view not allow to automate the process of updating alerts if the chart is changed?

I really really cannot recommend settings 😅 you may prefer high sens, you may prefer low. You may like to see macro trends, you may not

You'll see people in here have huge differences in settings

And both sets will have a method that works

It's a bit like asking for the best moving average

yep, I pay for futures with TV so it's real time and the other tickers I day trade are real time, so to reduce sensitivity I need to go lower or higher than the 4.25 setting? @indigo cradle

But most traders tend to focus on a handful of assets

Hello Gecko, thanks for the new 2.8 update. However I'm finding that some timeframes arent scaling correctly now (goes really flat and cant see the graph) and also the support and resistance lines dont work like they did, difficult to see where there is support or resistance, the lines looks very long and thin and stretch back weeks! Odd and only since the new update!

You just had it set to show more macro S/Rs

So it was showing one from far back in time

which was far away from the current price

So it was trying to fit it all in the frame

To update Lux Algo V2, refresh your browser / screen and remove it, add it back to your chart, and save your chart layout on TradingView.

If this didn't work, refresh your browser / TradingView mobile app and then remove/re-add Lux Algo V2 back to your chart and save your chart layout.
