I've kinda established a rule that if I get a strong signal and the bar high is within 3 points of the resistance bar I would wait to see if one of the following bars will close above the resistance line before I initiated an entry

@lyric badge while I imagine a lot of what youre asking is proprietary, the strong vs normal buy/sells are where they are located relative to the equalizer band setting. Strong buy and normal sell are above the band, strong sell and normal buy are below the band

@lean perch generally per the color but you can see divergences play out with the black outlines earlier. It's a very adaptable tool. You could increase the value and just see the general trend of anything or you could use the lower value like 11 (Default) to see divergences and such without creating much delay at all

Does anyone else have issues with MTF? I don’t mean Lux specifically but with TV’s other indicators as well. I thought that the original 15min MACD repainted on me so I switched to Trading View‘s built in MACD and set it for 15min. But I’m watching it today and up until 10:20 it still hadn’t crossed and at 10:22 my app refreshes and it shows it crossed at 9:45. I really have a hard time believing that TradingView’s built in indicators repaint but I’m wondering if maybe there’s an issue with streaming real tome MTF charts?

Starting to get the hang of this I am using 15min and 1hr, so far its comfirming a lot of positions, not really giving a heads up to potential market changes with the setting i have it at. But so far so good😊

generally first just increasing sensitivity and judging how it cleans up the signals overall per that timeframe

then tweaking agility / smoothing for fine tuning afterwards

also overall just utilizing Lux Oscillator and Lux Volatility + waiting for price to hold cleanly above or below the equalizer band before considering a directional play really helps

Hi, can you help me with this? Often I dont see the same signals as the Discord altert is showing. For example the newest alert on USOIL Strong Buy (4h Chart). In trading view I see a Strong Sell in the 4 hour chart

Our Discord market scanner alerts all use the following:

• Heikin Ashi Candles
• Default Lux Algo (V2.7 inputs & no toggle options enabled)
• Normal trading hours (no extended hours)
• Main exchanges / brokers such as NASDAQ / TVC / OANDA / COINBASE / BINANCE

TradingView alerts are set per your exact settings, timeframe, and enabled toggle options at the time you set the alert.
Adding the Equalizer band makes it require more confirmation to register a signal as "Strong".

@jaunty perch I say this in the nicest way possible, study. You need to be able to grasp what different timeframes mean before just trading. Keep in mind LUX gives signals based on X previous candles of data. So the more data you let it feed off the better the entries will be

Can I trick TV to close out the day 30 min or an hour earlier so that it could give me the LUX signal earlier? So I trade the Forex market between 4pm-5pm. When the trading day is over at 5pm I get all the alerts from the algo. I wish I could trick TV to think that the trading day ends at 4:30pm lux gives me the signal and I get in before the spread adjusts. IDK maybe I'm thinking crazy stuff.

signals should not be taken during openings, eod and high priority news

@ocean walrus if I'm sleeping I just don't wanna have the alerts. I have set them to alert any, so they will ruin my sleeping if i have them on. You can select as many as you want, i only trade 3 or 4 instruments so it's not a lot but you can put the alerts you want so you don't have to scan anything

without giving anyway any secrets can you give some insight on what is the difference between a buy signal and a STRONG buy signal. Cause I see some very good basic buy signals.

And it did go down
