Playing around with the update. I get a pine script error if sensitivity is set to 7 on the 1Min timeframe. My real-time data also stopped on futures, but when I clicked on the symbol to hide then bring it back it came back. So all is well as far as I can tell, just sharing in case anyone has any issues.

Our Discord market scanner alerts all use the following:

  • Heikin Ashi Candles
  • Default Lux Algo (V2.4 inputs & no toggle options enabled)
  • Normal trading hours (no extended hours)
  • Main exchanges / brokers such as NASDAQ / TVC / OANDA / COINBASE / BINANCE

Adjusting the sensitivity makes signals require more confirmation to generate.
Adding the Equalizer band makes it require more confirmation to register a signal as "Strong".

Currently as of 7/13/20 our Discord alerts are using the previous input settings in Lux Algo V2.4. These are being changed to our new V2.5 settings and may take 3-5 days due to the amount of alerts needing to be manually updated.

@lyric locust here is tip I learned from an old wise forex trader. You might know this but just in case. Look up ticker symbol EVZ and always have it in plain view. I have it in a watch list with 9 other currency pairs I look at. If EVZ is below 7 then it's going to be a bad day in Forex. Anything above 8 is ideal volatility for trading forex. Take a look how low it got today.

Not sure if it would impact stocks. ... We have been having a rough couple of days because the market wants to go down and the feds keep pumping cash. One day we are just going to run out of ink to print money. It's crazy times we live in.

just curious - but why do you specify 'once per bar close' on alerts? 'once per bar' seems to work, and gets the signal to me one bar sooner?

When it closes, it’s certifying that signal

#

A candle can still be open and still receive a signal, but it can go the opposite way

#

Having a closed candle alert makes you more certain about the direction of the signal

ok, so when a candle is open it theoretically could signal 'buy' but then disappear before the candle closes?

hmm, interesting. I wonder is there's a threshhold where once it gets to a certain point, it's 99.99% certain to be going that way at the end of the candle. and it could do a 'likely buy' or 'likely sell' before it's official\

@thorn canyon regarding your 99.99% threshold question... I set my alerts for “once per bar” because I want to be alerted AS the strong signal is forming. If it’s “strong” at 10sec left in the candle I submit my order. To date, I’ve never had a signal change in the 10sec.

Hi, I am unable to see the sell signal on the top of the chart in trading view. All I can see is the red banner. I am unable to see whether its sell or strong sell. Please suggest the way out
