sorry mate I didn't realise I had changed the sensitivity setting to 1.5 which shows a slightly different result. All good, reset the settings and signal is correct.

@velvet coral just zoom out a little on the chart before entering the signals. You can see price has bounced from this area a lot of times. So either wait for a pullback before going short if you did want to follow the signal - or just wait for a strong breakout of the low.

I am interested in day and swing trading primarily and I have a mock up account I have $1500 set aside and I have now spread that portfolio across a few interesting stocks for the week I can see moving to the up side. Now my question is what sense settings and overall settings and alerts should I apply with lux in order to get the fastest response for my desired day trades with an alert attached

@raw walrus I think the safest bet is if you're new to learn to identify areas of support and resistance, and take the signals from there. See my latest posts in #696781587223937025 as an example.

otherwise, I hear a few people using a thousand indicators to line up which seems to be working? I prefer pure price action. Whatever works for you.

Yes I would like to learn this. But with that being the case should I leave the lux settings at base 1.15? Or? And I would prefer an indicator chart of stock volume instead of the direct number on the dashboard option cause the dashboard takes up much wanted space and doesn’t seem clean when I apply it

I believe the standard defaults for LUX have been working good. I'm not sure about the volume, as I trade currencies for the most part and don't require a traditional volume indicator as you would for stocks. Someone else may be able to answer that.

I get you want to make a strategy using Lux but for that you'd need total script access and TV doesn't support output script vals

I would only need to be able to use the lux signal as inputs to define/redefine my strategy. I wouldn't need anything else. Like
if lux_signal_buy = true
then long 3 contracts
else ...
