@winter linden I don’t exit the same. Normal days I set a trail at 20-30¢ on the share side, or 10-15% on the options side and let it ride until it takes me out. Days like today I’ll hold until it starts to go against me because the news is causing this big volatile move. So if I set a trail too early I’ll miss out. Days like today are also outliers. But they’re nice when they happen

but the reversal bands are (presumably) a mathematical derivation as opposed to some made up level; that seems to correlate with a good time to buy/sell. So if the price is in the upper bands on the time frame you trade on; it is the worst place to buy.

@gentle comet yes the signals will vary if you are using Heiken Ashi candles as opposed to regular candles. You can enabled HA source and it’ll get ya extremely close. HA candles don’t give true values because it takes the averages of the OHLC where as standard candles are exact values. With that said they’re usually pretty close.

I enter on strong only. So in both your screenshots I would’ve entered after the first red bodied candle closed.

Remember, in the resources it states that the design isn’t to enter on the regular buy/sell signals with purple candles. So your entry line should be at the close of the 1st red candle

@hidden moss sensitivity as its name indicates control the sensitivity of the signals to price variations, agility on the other hand aims to control the impact ranging markets have over the signals, if you want to filter out signals in ranging market keep that setting relatively high. You can play arround to see which setting combination works well for you, for me I always use fairly high values, but thats only me

one tips with setting the settings is to look at the price variations, and see what variations you would have wanted to trade, adjust the settings accordingly, but always take into account lag and frictional costs, you dont want to trade noisy variations

the contrarian signals are an alternitave, they go against the trend and facilitated in range scalping

that has an app that connects alerts in TV to the app and forwards them to MT5

in under 1 second

but i had some errors today in TV not sending some alerts (they were two strong ones in 1m chart)

@potent hemlock best starting advice we tend to give is simply add the Lux Algo to what you’re doing as a confirming indicator.

In the #🔊announcements tab Mack said he’s going to be uploading tutorial videos soon to help explain everything thoroughly

A simple strategy is get a trend on one timeframe and take the strong signals on a shorter timeframe that are congruent with the trend
