Yeah I've got a demo Oanda account that I have been ignoring. It's outsmarting me too. If you're swinging I assume you're likely looking at 1D & 4H charts mostly. Default will score you solid trades. If you want more signals, like you want multiple buy opportunities during weeks-long expansion(s) then I'd lower the sensitivity to produce more signals. If you want to hold for long periods then default or slightly increased will serve you well
the easiest way imo is to pull up a ticker you'd trade on a timeframe you'd trade on. Add Lux, and slowly tweak the numbers until your chart looks good to you.

@grand hinge they're not to be taken blindly. The scanners are more of a "hey check this out" and less of a "invest your money here" type of situation. Get the alert, do your analysis and if YOU like it then take it.
