i think its a little crazy lol. I don't have much experience buying options way out of the money though, so maybe someone else here would have a better yes or no and reason why or why not. I think it's too far out of the money personally, but i guess $80 isn't that big of a risk to take on an option either

i assumed that much, i mean there's always a chance if the stock starts skyrocketing that option will also increase in price. and if not, it's a risk of like $80 right now. i wouldn't expect it to go up necesarily after battery day. but i don't think it would be a terrible idea to try and make a little profit before hand. I would probably go for the 700 one if that was the case though. more likely to increase with the stock volatility
but also check the open interest and everything to make sure you can sell

I don’t trade forex personally but form the little bit I know is that it’s more volatile than stocks & futures. Sooo I’d imagine you’d need to measure trend and only take smaller timeframe signals within that trend. Lux oscillator cranked up to 50-100 can do that, a mtf MACD, or moving averages like the Hull100 or 50+ema

@vagrant meadow Earlier you mentioned that you only use strong signals that follows the trend on a higher timeframe. What do you use to determine the trend on a higher timeframe? Do use the LUX signal and go in that direction or do you use something else?

I do it 1/2 ways. For stocks I like using a 15m MACD set to 12,50,9. If it’s bearish, I only take strong sells, bullish I enter on strong buys. With a supporting oscillator and whatever other indicators you may like
The other way would be put your template on a 15m and if it’s bullish to enter on bullish signals on the 5m. Assuming you use 15/5, it would work for any timeframe really.

I have used this in the past www.jubot.io to automate some TV crypto signals that I had. It is an amazing product but once again it will trade once an alert fires . . . so you are blind unless you really have the indicator tweaked in.

Heads up. Based on the questions people ask in here... it’s evident that a lot of you are looking for the ‘perfect setting’ for {asset} on the {timeframe}
It doesn’t exist. Trust me. In the three months I’ve been using Lux, I have easily spent over 500 hours in front of the computer back testing and forward testing.
In forex, I trade 28 pairs.
I have saved 23 different setups of Lux to help me win more and more importantly lose less.
You don’t have to do that... but you won’t find the consistency in your P/L ratio.
And if you don’t want to study, practice, and apply your discoveries, well - honestly, you’re in the wrong line of work.
NOW... Lux fasttracks your progress... but ONLY if you take the time to study two very important things.
- How the market moves the way it moves
- WHY the market moves the way it moves
Notice how I didn’t say ‘learn’ those things. You never will. You’ll study it till the day you stop trading.
The faster you apply your studies to those two things above, the faster you will be able to adjust Lux’s settings to fit your style of trading.

Hey guys its my first day using lux algo. Made some money but jus wondering why it shows different trade setups on different timefram? Also the SL and TP constantly keep moving. And sometimes the setup on different timelines are opposite trends?

@native radish Firstly the trade setup is not to be used with signals
