It works. Your winners are better than your losers. I’ve scaled back from day trading & have really been focusing on 4H & 1D charts

The 4H chart delivered 45 winners & 10 losers on ES futures. 44 of those winners were within the next candle. I consider a losing trade to be encountering a sell signal and a winning trade is 10 points. Many of the winners gained MUCH more than 10 points, but for testing purposes I kept it there. First candle was 4/1/2020.... then I did the same for $SPY, 20 winners to 2 losers, 12 winners were next candle, 5 were the 2nd candle & 3 were 3+ (4,6,3)... trade is considered a winner if it gets $2.00 in your favor & a loser is coming into a sell signal. Many winners gained more than $2. But again, simply for a quick/rough backtest I wanted to see approximately what was possible
