with options it'll work too, you just gotta take profit sooner because for Lux sometimes it will be in a sell trend or a buy trend for quite a few candles and u dont want to hold options that long because of time decay

It's been 3 weeks in the making. But I have a nice set of trade rules now, revamped after having lost too much money using things like Fibonaci and channels...

It's been back tested on 28 forex pairs, XAUUSD, and US30...

from beginning of year and forward tested for the last two weeks, one week on demo, one week on 0.01 lots

I have learned more about the markets than had I have learned in the last 3 years.

Lux Algo was the catalyst. Next; I'm ready to start sharing the journey.

so before entry buy , i check lux oscillator, just before it changes to blue on the 1 min chart , now i also have open the 1 sec chart for a better accurate entry point, then i buy and i only stay like 5 sec and sell , profit per trade between 50 to 300 usd

it'll tell you about the strength of the trend. This could be a good indicator of when to start selling, esp for options since u dont want to hold them as long as LUX wants you to hold them sometimes. so a declining MACD might be a sell indicator

or a buy indicator if theres a MACD reversal

I think generally Lux works best for stocks. Until Lux gets on ToS (which has support for options chains charts) the timing for options is a little tricky. Forex from what I've heard, is not that optimal with Lux either.

Hey everyone. I’m trying to respond as fast as I can. I wasn’t ignoring you. My best friend of 10 years passed away suddenly yesterday and since it’s the weekend I had my alerts off. But I'll warm you, you have to have your sh!t together. It does what you want on TV alerts. Or it does what you don't want automatically. It's an extremely efficient way to lose money around the clock. Paper trade for a looooong time, and take a very close look at how your settings signal in all market conditions. Looking back 6-12 months on a 30m candle chart any time you think you have your (Lux) settings figured out would not be a waste of time.

I would suggest using Lux on default settings on a 4h chart, and configuring notifications to signal you for trades through mobile app and email.

Use a broker like Coinbase or even Cashapp if you just want BTC I'd just do BTC and maybe ETH.

so i play with 3 SMA for now 9,30 and 180 SMA, now i got lux indicator that when im in a trend, it helps me identify if the trend is still "strong", and the other "buy: is the semi long indicator, but i verify all that with the 3 smas, also i dont stay all the way on the long BUY when it pumps at the beginning thats when most of the profit is, cause sometimes market changes and u loos lot of profit so i prefer to get some and get out, then if market croses back up to the emas and i see verification that trend will keep going up i will open another trade and do the same

now lets say trend is bearish, and for some reason there is a buy alert in lux, i dont pay attention to that, but if there is strong alert, is an indication trend may change , and then i verify with the SMAs

#

and then the oscillator etc is for me to try to predict trend direction for me to enter a new trade, is really accurate comparing to others

#

laso volatility and macd are really helpfull too for me, personally moreverificatin the better

#

i got other indicators that are turned off cause im testing them like the quadratic regression, sometimes fails so still playing with that

#

so u see here at the end it seems like the market is about to change, and i verify that with the indicators and also the seconds chart

cause candles are going up, closer to the long trend red line indicator, and croses the emas, but of course is not 100 guarantee so i wait and see the seconds chart to make sure

it crossess the 180 and 9 ema, with 2 candles verification , now i will wait if it crossess the 30 ema ( the white line)

seconds chart is fighting but not yet there but chance of breaking up

Careful of auto divergence spots

#

They are basically as misleading as repainting

#

Because the code needs to wait X candles into the future normally in order to verify the point is a low/high

#

And humans are wayyyy better at spotting them earlier
