PSA: This is XAUUSD (Gold) 4HR timeframe (Just Equalizer Band) - perfect example of a ranging market identified by multiple twists of the band.

Now as you can see, choppy market overall.. violent moves, hard to trade. No clear trends either which way.

This would have been easily identifiable towards May 1st on the chart, and would've been a good indication to put less trust in the signals until price cleanly holds above or below the band

If you trade forex (this works everywhere, but it’s very apparent here)

Trade with 1:3 risk/reward

That means for potentially making $3, you would at most lose 1

This way if you’re right 1/3 of the time you’ll still profit

The ratio works anywhere, but I notice a lot of people take on very bad risk/rewards

It also depends on probability of profit too of course (that’s why people sell spreads for $1 that can potentially lose $2). I’m mainly talking about BUYING thi

That’s why swing trading works well, the bot has a good WR, but you don’t need to win every signal

And if ur good at adjusting you can actually minimize loss even more
