termux wont access sd card

I have tried to give it permissions manually through settings as well as using termux-setup-storage but it is still not working. when i use the command i get that something was aborted at some random line

i cant write to anything either

every folder is read only

update: i ran install termux-am and then termux-setup-storage and it worked

but when i view the linux gui i still cannot access sdcard
