#Input bug in controls menu - pressing enter to accept a control accesses a background menu

I'm trying to bind controls using the generic keyboard mode of my 20XX R4 B0XX. It doesn't have an enter button, so I'm using a second keyboard to try to accept the controls. it is not possible to do this in the character select menu, so I am in the main menu, clicking the account profile picture on the top right, then selecting controls. When I set a key using the B0XX, then press enter with the second keyboard, it selects a menu item from the profile menu sometimes but not all the time, and counts as me "holding" enter and reverts my change. There is no secondary way to accept a keyboard control other than pressing enter, so this has made it very difficult to bind my keyboard controls for a non-standard keyboard without an enter key.

Here is a video of the bug.

moving my mouse sometimes deselects that background menu item and allows me to accept the control

it seems that when I press a button on the boxx, the mouse dissapears, and when that happens it puts me into that bugged state. When I move my mouse, it reverts back to the "standard" keyboard and mouse controls - I think it might be context switching to a second keyboard setup which is leaving me in that bugged ui state

yeah, pressing enter while out of the controls menu opens up that top right profile menu, so somehow it's leaving the context of the controls menu when I press a button on the B0XX. As an aside, there is no way to set what buttons do what in the menus that I can see, making navigation on a non-standard keyboard impossible
