#B button not working in menus only

Does it work normally if you turn off Steam Input?
Steam input is off to begin with
Do you have the option for Console/WiiU?
The lossless is set to switch/(something else) mode, I believe it is the same
I used that mode prior to the updates following La Reina, had not played for a while, switched to Xinput then saw the normal gcc input was mostly working and decided to switch back
Do you have vJoy installed by any chance?
I don't think so but I can check later. That would only affect menus?
just checked, I do not have that installed and I also checked for JoytoKey which I also cannot find
I tried reinstalling and verifying files, did not fix the issue
It affects inputs, Zadig should be the go to
ROA2 will detect and install it on your Steam packages
Ah I definitely had that installed and worked. Is it easy enough to reverse the driver install? I'm assuming I don't need it anymore anyway with changes rivals and steam has made with GC adapters
@wet comet I think I misunderstood, Zadig actually isn't a problem?
Zadig works, vJoy doesn't
It appeared I didn't have vJoy installed unless it's just tucked away somewhere. Searching vJoy or Joy didn't bring anything like that up on my computer. I also looked for joytokey just in case, there's nothing
I'm going to just play with Xinput for now. I haven't seen anyone else with this issue so it just must be something on my side
bumping. is this happening to ABSOUTELY anyone else? i'm getting tired of playing on Xinput to be honest, the slight differences are really starting to bug me
Can you try using the installer on:
steamapps\common\Rivals 2\Extras\GC_Controller_Adapter_Setup
I'll check it out when I'm home, thank you
I just get this. I have tried every mode the adapter can do. I know the lossless can be a special case
what i've found is if you're tabbed out it disables the B button to exit menus, tabbing back in or in, out and back in fixes. otherwise, you can press and hold A+X+Y+Start and it resets your controller, that also usually helps
i also have a OG GCC and an input integrity adapter
this didnt really apply to my problem, but thanks for the input regardless
I ran into someone at one of my locals that had this problem, recently. same things there
also, I tried this with my mayflash in wiiu, got this. so it is all good on that front. it being just menus I figured this was the case
happens to me too
Just to double check, with a new tag it also occurs?
I believe so, but I can get a definitive answer in a few hours
Just checked, it doesn't.
I finally remembered to try making a new tag today... and yup. that's the solution. Probably only happens with old tags
