I've recently gotten an Anycubic Kobra 3 Max Combo and have had very mixed results. Regular PLA prints okay most of the time, even though I've not yet fully figured out how to fix my z-offset/leveling issues. That being said, I've only ever been able to print 1 thing out of PETG (a benchy which came out pretty much perfect), since then I have not been able to print anything in PETG at all. They always detach from the print bed no matter how I clean it (99% isopropyl alcohol or dish soap and hot water). I've had 1 print that did stick but got spaghetti issues.

with petg its usaly moisture. it gets moist in as little as 30mins
Use a raft and turn off the fan during the initial layer. Fast cooling causes it to shrink too quick. Printing too slow can cause the same issue.
Dang i never dried anything ever and i live in a really humid area
the kobra 3 should not need a raft
especialy if you look at the skirt it looks like the first layer is on spot
Thanks a lot for the info! I'll try to make sure it's fully dried, I never open the Ace, so I thought maybe I wouldn't need to dry as often, but I'll make sure I'm doing a full 4 hours before printing. I'll have to lookup how to disable the the fan just for the first layer, I don't recall seeing this setting in the Anycubic slicer
I'll try to make sure to add a skirt to all models from now on too, the spaghetti one from the pic was sent from the app straight to the printer... Guess the app is mostly just useful for monitoring the progress
I just use a raft to gurantee print success
Could increasing bed temp help when a raft isn't suitable for the print? Like when printing a large tray for example
awful z offset
do not use raft
I am a raft enjoyer
