#Help a newbie. So this is my 2nd print and my printer is brand new but already have layer shift?

Thats not layer shift. Your part is comming loose from the build plate. Since your printer is new try removing and scrubbing the build plate thoroughly with soap and water. Sometimes they are very slick when new. If that doesn't work try adjusting your first layer settings. (Slow the print speed down and increase ge temperature a little bit)
Your print is also suffering from warping on the first layer which is contributing to this. That's usually caused by either the print bed being too hot a cross breeze cooling the print bed too quickly or both.
You may also want to print using a brim for adhesion. Especially with tiny parts like this. (I assume this is the same dimensions as a regular Lego and not increased size.)
Since your new id run a first layer test to make sure your z offset is correct.
What are the printing temps?
