what did they suggest so far
The solution should be very easy. Put on heat resistant cloves connect the hotend without the heatsink fan ... wait a while and then pull or push
Basicly you create artifical heat creep
U mean gloves?
I dont have ones
oven mitts
Ohh i have it
I tried something simmilar but low temperaturę and a bit diferent but will try ( the temp was 200c
It will take a while because the heatbreak well breaks the heat^_^
10 15 minutes just make sure its not touching any plastik etc
Btw how did that happend? Tube got loose or wasnt seated correctly?
No i just replaced filament it got stuck
In heat break
Idk how
Oh i removed the tube while disasembly
What tube?
possibly the filament was too large on the end and was causing a clog
Ohh
From what i see id say there was a gap ?
Yeah that one is important and if not seated correctly.you get a gap
So do i give it back the tube?
After removing and cleaning out the filament
Wait cleaning ? Wdym
How do i do it
Ohh no there is nothing in the tibe
Tube
If that's what you ment
I didnt mean the tube. I meant the heatsink heatbreak
Soo how to clean it
You are new to this i guess?
Yeah my first printer but u do alot of electronics and fix them too
Its molten plastic so you need something it likes too stick much more then metal like a wodden tooth pick
It dont think they will work bit i have some
You want something softer then the metal scratching the inside of the heatbreak nozzle heatsink is not good
I guess the material is pla?
Yeah
Then max 240 c will still burn up a little of it but not all. And because i dont know the material the heat sink is made of id like to avoid melting it
Probably something low melting point because heat sink alwayse cool
Now pray so nothing breaks and everything goes well ( uf you are atheist then sorry)
Something starter smoking between 50/70celcius (i think its leftover plastic on tip
So not worry i guess it stopped when it went to 70celcius
if i had to guess its prob aluminum
I dont think the smoke is bad ( Hope nothing is burning)
Heat sink still cold a lil bit
Fans are off
Melting point of aluminium is 600 celcius
Ok but should i mąkę the heat sink hot or no
@viral cape the heat sink slowly getting hotter
Shouldnit
Its ender 3 v3 ke heat sink btw (no shit Sherlock its a ender 3 v3 ke heat sink beuvase its the printer )
Pls answear
Nothing to apologize.. this is not reddit or 4chan ..
Since you mentioned it wanna take a casual look at my religion? https://vid.pr0gramm.com/2019/11/24/56bd9f2fc58d3be8.mp4

It should heat up over time when you turn on the hotend
I just had it unplugrd
It thats not working you can try a hot air gun but that could melt the cables /connectors
Which makes it a last ditch efford
No the heat sink will gest hotter
Bruh they didnt give me s screw driver so i could unscrewd it
O Hope unscrewing it wont void my waranty
Wdym
Don't worry about the warrenty
Let me say it that way creality is known for flodding the market with low to mindtier 3d printers and releasing a new version every 2 to 5 months i say. They are not known for quality or customerservice.. heck their own firmware works only on roughly 25% of the printer its made for due chinesium bs
Or to market it more positivly.
You can fix it, don't worry
Creality printers have limitless potential for creative customer ^_^
it is just plastic and metal, just need to tease it apart
Yeah i know creality printers are shitty but i think that is enough for a beginer like my (first printer)
Sofar nothing out of the ordinary . Thsts correct @fast rose
Ok but i need to bordowy a screwdrivdr from my father afk for a minute
Common missconception in my eyes. Its more like learning to swim by beeing tossed into the river. You ll learn it but its not nice
Plus side, he will know how a hot end works after this
But just an allmetal one ^_^
Ok got it off wait i need to do something
Good night im out
I just realised it Has plastic part that is connected with screws so probably gonna melt
So idk what to do now
Heat the metal
Undo the screws
Yeah i heated it up without the heat sink and after heating to 220celcius i just Pulled it out
But thank you
Did IT yesterday
At least its fixed now 🙂 3 things to do / check though to avoid it in the future.
Never turn the printer off when it just finished its print. Remaining heat can cause a blob
Check the endscript of your slicer. Sometimes or better with 90% certainty creality has the wrong retraction distance in the end format. On a direct drive its max 2 mm
And last but not least ... check the retraction distance for printing in your slicer
