why is my printer jumping whenever I start a print?

It’s also been causing me a lot of issue with the y axis shifting after only a few layers. I don’t know how it’s messed up. I would think it’s belt tension but I tightened everything that had slack.

Using ultimaker 2 with an upgraded heating element (Olson block) instead of the original it comes with where the print nozzle is built into the heating element.
