I have tried using every firmware they have a link to on their site, I've tried 3 different SD cards, I've tried letting it sit for an hour and nothing has made the main menu appear

you also need too update the screen with that new image set and the sd slot of the screen

After 100+ reboots i have been unable to get the screen to show any signs of even attempting to update, i have followed that video and watched many others
no matter what format the SD card is in, which SD card i use, nothing

there are 4 to 5 diferent screen types around currently maybe you got one that requires a different set

You can try getting an older firmware version from somewhere and hope that it fixes it

Update: creality has given me a firmware that they don't have on the normal site that worked perfectly for my printer
