Anycubic kobra plus, using pla+ at 205c, .2 layer, and it does it for the first layerish, like it seems to be sorta okay after 10 or 15 seconds of no printing which means the print failed in the first place.
I'm also a noob so I'm kinda lost in sauce. I'm ordering a new ardened steel nozzle for later cf filament use, but it's essentially a hail mary to fix my current issue. I'd like to fix it without replacing the nozzle yet, though. I appreciate any and all who read through my ramblings. Ty.
Could it be curaslicer?
"blowing air bubbles"
Do you mean you hear "popping sound?" When the filament extrudes?
in that case would that mean it’s wet?
Yes. Filament needs to be dried then
you can do that with a filiment dryer
can filiment be too dry?
Exactly a filament dryer does the trick. Or even a cheap food dehydrator.
In my experience, yes. I've had "overcooked" / too dry filament. They became too brittle. So be careful when drying wet filament.
yeah i’m just waiting to get money for one tbh they’re like £40-50
my old teacher gave me some extremely brittle pla which is really pretty but the problem is it is really brittle, got any ideas? it prints fine it’s just brittle asf
I'd dry it still. If it improves with let's say 2 hours of drying, I'd continue drying until it dries to acceptable state.
Good luck 🍀🍀🍀
