I would look into the btt manya boards if you want to do klipper. You can put a pi cm4 or btt cb1 module in and run klipper cleaner and more direct. I’m not to sure about changing connector types if that’s need for any of the wires. Haven’t needed to do that yet

There are some good combos of btt boards.
There is the manta m8p + cb1 + tmc 2209 x6. For a good price
Since you have two z steppers, x stepper, y stepper and e stepper. You need 6 drivers. Could do 5 if you do z stepper splitter cable.
Klipper requires a lil bit more than just changing the config file.

@fathom girder Is the cb1 or the cm4 more reliable than a pi 2 or 3? I've got a couple of those laying around.

well they do work however you will need to power them externally and wou will need to connect them usb to the board

thats the neat thing with manta boards you jsut plug the thing. no external pwer. no usb cables
