Ive had an unreasonably hard time tuning PETG, could anybody explain why my prints might be looking like this? I have a profile that ive downloaded and its a starting point but im not sure what this is and how to tune it, flow maybe?

Printer: Bambu labs P1P
Slicer: orca slicer (archane enabled)
Filament: Overture Blue PETG
Bed Temp: 80
Nozzle temp: 265
Flow: 1
Pressure advance: 0.036
Max flow rate was 15 but i lowered it due to this issue. Thought it might help, it hasnt lmao.

Dont know how to do that, i can assume how but ill have to try when im off work. Really i just need to know what that would be called, is it poor layer adhesion, bad flow, pressure advance, im not sure. If i can find out what the artifact is i can just google it but i cant figure it out.

Added some more info of the slicer settings. Its not all of them of course but maybe some of this info my help you help me. Ill look into attaching the g code after work, do you mean copying and pasting the starting and end g code? Or do you want me to export the profile for you to download and look at

neither. I want you to attach the entire gcode file

now, sorry if my dumbass has trouble understanding this my brain is fried, but Machine start G-code:

#

bleh, not even gonna bother. got a feeling im going the wrong direction here. i dont think there is any way to get g-code out without saving a .3mf

#

wait.. XD hold on

#

i suppose with bambu there has to be a file to export, such as, the orca cube. BBL is tight

#

this isn't the gcode from the photos

marble ibex
#

you would be correct, i noticed after that i didnt have the profile selected smh

cyan hare
#

I don't want you to reslice an object and send me the gcode. I want to see the gcode that produced the above photos

jesus im sorry man

it took me way to long to realize

trust, i can screenshot XD

#

not that, that would say much

cyan hare

why are you printing so hot?

slicer profile was 255, i increased it to 265 off a whim cause i was having trouble at 255 with green polymaker petg

#

green polymaker i had to increase to 275, im currently running through orca calibration with the green itself. i dont wanna be helpless when it comes to tuning but its been tough learning it

#

one thing i have yet to try, in which im doing with the green for this cali process is, ive been keeping my petg in a sovol dryer next to the printer, im inclined to believe my issues arise from that with other things comboing it. for the green rn, and for the blue later, i have the spool on the mount of the printer

I think you should do a "temperature tower" to figure out the optimal temperature.
