The rough parts on the flat print, idk why front and back are smooth and left and right sides have jagged "scars" and other picture has pitting
its like the X left to right travel is very nice but the forward back is scarred either by nozzle cutting through and causing ruts or by over extrusion causing it to splurge up each side of the nozzle? unsure on it, nobody seems to have the issue
the first photo looks like too close to the bed. though yeah, it is strange that it's only on the left/right.
attach the gcode
Will attach GCode when I get home, Also another issue is when printing corners, you start the print it does the purge line, then the first x,y coord gets placed but it always curls up or away to one side then when the shape is made and is suppoes to connect it has a big gap, any ideas how to mitigate that? Especially when your trying to make the first layer aesthetic and you have gaps or the curl gets printed over and its like a fossil lodged into the pattern when it gets printed over
not sure what you are talking about. take pics
When I was looking closely at the lines going down for the left photo, it seemed like it was normal then the line would get fat
similar to that like it was over extruding and smushing out sideways
and for the first line going down
looks like this
pics and gcode, pls
when i get home ill take pics
but basically the loose wispy bit will either be missing or be inside the box and get printed over which you can see after the print is completed on the under side
the difference is slightly 215c and print outside in vs above 200c and inside out and perhaps 10c less on the bed as trying to sort elephant foot as well
vvv this is good
vvv is scuffed
lower left is perfect top is scuffed like the nozzle is scraping into causing ruts or something weird
will send gcode in 4-5 hours
