Im useing a Fabrikator mini 2 and useing inland 1.75 mm filiment.

Im adjusting my retraction settings but this seems beyond that at this point

are temps too high?

also dry your filament if you think it might contain moisture

depends on your humidity, if this is pla it shouldn't be affected that much

#

in that little of time but it is something to consider

I would do a retraction tower so you can see the affect of decreasing your retraction, if that doesn't solve it then do the temp tower

#

with the best looking retraction setting

Alright i can do that. Il lyk the results! I appeciate it

crimson swan

yup and of course, make sure you have done a flow test for this new roll of filament

Oh shit iv never even heard of that one. But ill giver a throw.

yeah good calibration is. esteps, flow, retraction tower, temp tower. its all up to you in how much fine tuning you want to do, I go for dimensionally accurate prints

I had been running my flow speed at 100% but aparently for pla you want more like 90 so i lowered it to 95 and ran a benchy before i left to do some errands. When i left i saw the hull was considerably better than my first benchy

flow depends on measuring your filament in several spots to get an average, and same with walls, this tells how much plastic volume is needed to get your line width and layer height correct

#

thats great its looking better

I figure its as simple as printing a benchy and verifying the dementions with a caliper?

well flow is easy determined by doing a cube with no bottom and no top and either 1 or two walls and you do the math from what is printed to what is intended to get your desired wall thickness
