When you’re printing off sd card the printer won’t tell you if there are any gcode errors, it’ll just stop the print

#

So that’s likely what happened

#

Also if you have a bltouch then it might be that it probed that the bed was below the y minimum

#

Because the printer will give a gcode error if it tries to move outside it’s bounds

Want me to send my start code ?

What I think is most likely happening (because that happened to me before) is that the probe measures that the bed is lets say -0.3 mm, so it’s below where the end stop is. Then if the nozzle tries to move there the printer will give an error since it’s below the minimum value

#

The solution is to basically just make the bed higher

Sometimes it doesn’t even prove though?

Probe*

If you want to be sure, connect your computer or something to the printer through usb and use pronterface to start the print

#

That way if there are any errors pronterface will show them

K

I’ll do that now

Thanks

Idk how to close these

Btw I wouldn’t recommend just using pronterface all the time for prints, since if your computer dies or sleeps mid print the print will fail, just use the sd card unless you’re debugging something
