Ive had my ender 3 for a while, but I cannot get anything to stick. Never been able to. Bought the tempered glass plate, still won’t stick. I’ve tried all the recommended settings on Cura software. Im trying to print benchy and I just cannot get the first layer to stick. It bunches up around the nozzle and drags with the movement.

Also what plastic? What Temps?

#

Is the bed "Leveled" or Trammed how its actually called?

Bed is leveled, didn’t stick even when it was new. I don’t get any grease when I touch it. Using 200 nozzle 60 bed temp, using PLA

IPA just smears body grease around. i wash my bed once every month or two with warm water and soap to get rid of fats and IPA inbetween prints every now and then

Your nozzle is too far from the bed, and needs to be trammed/leveled

#

Also the cable running underneath the bed should not be there, is that the cable that goes into the bed?

ruby stump
#

@weak otter What he said, that nozzle is WAY too high up there

#

!level

ruby stump
#

Also yes the cables need to be fixed asap before a few movements open them up and short stuff and burn your house down lol

verbal vine
#

This is how your cables should be positioned

weak otter

I’ll fix that rn, this is my first printer 😅

ruby stump

Thats fine thats why we are here :)
