So I've been scratching my head for a week now trying to get my (first) fdm printer to print as good as possible, though I keep having slight problems with light stringing, ghosting and small blobs randomly scattered along my prints. Also I tried printing one of those articulated prints and when it was done it was stiff and kept crunching when I moved it around and small pieces of plastic kept falling out of it.

I've been printing PETG with the following settings:
Layerheight: 0.2 mm
Printing Temperature: 245 C
Build Plate Temperature: 80 C
Print Speed: 50 mm/s
Travel Speed: 120 mm/s
Retraction Distance: 1.0 mm
Retraction Speed: 50 mm/s

Also wanted to note that on the screw the blobs are only on half the height and only on one side.

What brand filament are you using?

It’s possible that you need to YouTube (to see how to slice them) and then print some test towers, you might find you actually need to lower your temperatures for best results
