So I recently installed a dual-gear extruder to my Creality Ender 3. After recalibrating e-steps and completing all of the necessary steps to get it printing right, I started a test print. The bottom layers of the print were very over-extruded and sloppy. I had turned down the initial layer flow in Cura, but now it's down to 50% and the problem remains. I've tested the stock extruder and different filaments to ensure that this issue is only occurring with the dual-gear extruder, now I need to know how to resolve this.
