#MSI Monitor says No Signal when trying both HDMI ports and display port.

I play on a laptop with an extension to a usb hub to connect to HDMI/DP. I know for a fact that the USB hub works because my ethernet still works through there along with everything else I have plugged into it.

Something to note is I cannot navigate the display menu by using the red joystick control on the back even though I know the screen is powered. Leading up to this, the screen had been randomly flicking off for a second and pushing me out of my fullscreen game before flicking back (if this info helps at all)

What laptop do you have? The red joystick thing is normal, unless you have a working display in, it will not accept inputs

Just tried with one of my old usb hubs and it appears to be working with the HDMI cable. Gonna see if theres soemthing wrong with my new usb hub

More than likely a hub issue then, monitors and laptops rarely fail like this

the problem is i need both ethernet and DP to be in teh same hub which limits me a lot hub wise dead_vap

I have 2 USB a and 2 USB c ports and thats it xD

2 usb a are for my mouse and keybaord and both usb c are for hubs
