The MSI GL63 8RD, the 2018/2019-ish model with the i7 8750H and GTX 1050 TI GPU, what is the Mini DisplayPort port tied to? The HDMI is tied to the iGPU (the Intel HD) I can tell that much but I don't have a MDP cable to test that one

you’ll be able to tell by plugging it into the monitor and opening nvidia control panel
if settigs for the display pop up
then its connected to the dgpu
if not its the igpu
but if i were to guess i’d say its probably the dgpu
