hey
MSI has streams on Twitch... and I think YouTube.
I think on the YouTube streams, the hosts are MSI staff. You could try asking them about a backplate replacement.

MEG Z790 ACE was released October 2022, so it should still be covered under warranty...
if none of the warranty exclusions apply in your specific case.
They dont cover that domage under warranty 💀
That sucks!
You could try eBay, FB marketplace, tech forums, other tech marketplaces. Sometimes sellers are selling non-working/functional motherboards just for parts
It will be hard, in your case, because your mobo is still very new.
Bruh
What i do then
I dont want to buy a brand new one just for it part
So, did you say that you have contacted MSI support?
How did it go? Did they reject your warranty claims?
Ofc they rejected them
Idk. If you can fix it yourself or have a repair tech fix it, then I would try that.
If not, then you can try selling the board "just for parts"
at least get something back from it.
I would like too but i need to daam backplate to replace it
Yep, search around ebay and other marketplaces for a seller selling your motherboard "just for parts"
I would be surprised
As I mentioned before, it will be hard because your motherboard is fairly new.
Ye
and it may not be worth the time trying that strategy (fixing mobo).
Wym
It might be easier accepting the broken motherboard as a lost cause and get a new one.
Remember, you can try selling it just for parts... if you know for sure it's non-functional
Would cost hell a lot for a new one
yep
It work lmao it the backplate that have domage
oh
so, your motherboard works normally?
what's wrong with the backplate?
It domaged
That all but the board work
I just hate to see the damage every day i look at the daam motherboard
It hurt
ah I see 🙂
No, I don't and I won't pretend I do. Every person hurts in their own unique way.
What hurt you?
Many things but now is not the best time or place for such a discussion imo 😉
Broken rtx 4090?
would that hurt
Going to get food bbl 🙂
