Let me give you some background. Last Friday I changed my internet subscription. I was able to use my PC properly all weekend and even stream at full speed on Monday evening (it was perfect). So I turned my PC back on last night to run steam and enjoy the connection again! Everything was perfect, I had 2.5GB constantly, my PC was fine, until the Ethernet connection CRASH randomly, only to restart itself a few seconds later. (So I checked my wifi, it was impeccable and my internet box was up and running). I told myself it was a little bug, so I relaunched my stream, which crashed because of this, joined my Rocket League game again, from where I'd been kicked, everything was ok, but a few minutes later again totally random crash, again and again, I persisted, again and again... to finally give up and cut my stream for good...

So I looked at the event viewer, and based on the crash times of my stream, I had system errors because of my controller:

Intel(R) Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V
Network link is disconnected.

And :

Intel(R) Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V
Network link has been established at 2.5Gbps full duplex.

So from there I started following 36000 forums one by one, trying to uninstall the driver, reinstall it, put an earlier version, change the power settings on it, remove the adaptive duplex, after each manipulation I launched a game and after several minutes of play, the ethernet crash came back (randomly) for a few moments...
My motherboard is an MSI Z690 Edge Wifi DDR4.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I can't play competitively anymore, I can't stream...

Also, check your motherboard's support page for the latest updates.

#

After double-checking that you have the latest relevant updates installed for your system, I would then check your network connection. Test it out.

The drivers you get from Intel are generic. The drivers from OEM (MSI) are customized to work with your motherboard, so I would stick with those drivers since your motherboard is fairly recent. In some cases, particularly older motherboards, you may want to check Intel's website for more recent drivers. Not sure how long motherboard manufacturers maintain update support for older motherboards. Sometimes you may want to check original chipset maker's website for updates.

Test your connection by playing your typical games.

I would run a virus/malware full scan of your PC, just in case.

#

Maybe restart your router/modem/ network devices.

I shutdown my PC before going to bed. I restart my PC at least once a day.

For real I was little bit stupid yesterday, even after all my change i didn't try to restart my pc...

#

it's cool

#

I don't put my PC to sleep or hibernation. If you do sleep or hibernate your PC, I would restart after waking it up. just incase

But the good thing is that I called the support of my internet, and they have found some bug in my box, so tomorrow something is coming to my house to change it too, soo I hope that all will be cool.

#

Yep yep

#

But I think I should add my new network card even if it's fix, Realtek is more stable than Intel

#

Cool! Could have been an issue with your ISP.

Yep haha

#

But I didn't stream today

#

Maybe the problem is the power

#

who shutdown my network controller when the power is to high ?

#

(when i'm streaming)

You could try a Network reset. Start > Settings > Network & Internet > network reset

this one

#

Reset all network card to factory status ?

slate cradle
#

If you still disconnect, then network reset may be worth trying.

gilded pond
#

Okay, I will try this right now just to see, And i block my duplex to 1Go in the device manager of the intel controller ethernet

#

because 2.5 is overkill and maybe the problem was that

"Network reset will remove and reinstall all your network devices, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and VPN adapters. It will also reset your network-related settings, such as IP address, DNS, firewall, proxy, and VPN configurations." If you have any custom configs, take note of them before resetting.
